Tonight I did something way out of my comfort zone!! See the pics below? Yep that’s my forehead!! I have been self conscience about that big thing FOREVER!!
Whenever I’d get my haircut I’d say “leave the bangs I have a really High Forehead” I’d usually say “Cut them to my eyebrows” then sometimes I’d forget to lower my brows and my bangs would end up in the middle of my forehead!! Then I’d have to walk around with my eyebrows up all the time!! That can cause some major wrinkles in your forehead!!
I’ll get to the point now. The point is tonight when I got ready for a Disco Party here in town. I got all ready and found my Peace Sign Sunglasses. I put them on my eyes and then pushed them up into my hair. For the 1st time ever I liked my High Forehead & went out & had a blast!
I never wondered “Is anyone looking at my forehead?” I actually had Confidence that I looked good. You see this didn’t happen over night I’ve been working on a better Tammy Lyn Connors for a couple of years now. Well it’s finally paying off. You see I finally have confidence in who I am & who I’m becoming.
It definitely hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to have a lot of conversations with my Reflection in the mirror. I had to convince me that I Am Beautiful & I Am More Than Enough. Others can tell us these things all day long but until we BeLieVe it it doesn’t mean much. I hope that this helps you to get in front of the mirror and tell yourself how Awesome you are!!!
